Doing sports is one of the most popular ways of spending your time. There are a lot of kings of sports, some of them are played in winter ,others in summer, some of them are played in winter.
The most popular sports in Russia are: football, basketball, tennis, hockey, volleyball, skating, skiing.
Popular sports to watch
Those, who don’t want or don’t like to play sport usually watch it on TV. The most watched sport is football of course. There are a lot of fans gathering in front of TV to watch hockey, basketball, tennis and figure sharing.
Popular sports to do
Winter: hockey, skating, skiing.
Summer: football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, boxing.
Typical school sports
As for the extreme sports, the in Russia the most popular are :bungee-jumping, mountain biking, scuba-diving, surfing, parachuting, snowboarding. Doing these sports is rather dangerous so you should be trained first to practice them.
My favorite sport
My favorite sports are football and volleyball.
