Quest: Cellular C?s
Hola Amigos! Me llamo Carlos Plast, but my friends call me Green. Como Estas? Well, you know, A while back I got caught for smuggling, I never figured my old buddy Carlos Phil would get me in so much trouble. When the old plant community found me, well they locked me up in this cell. But it?s not so bad; I mean everyone here in the cell at least works well together. They say I ?bring some color to this dump.? You know, just ?cause I?m in this cell, doesn?t mean I?m stopping from my smuggling business.
It?s not so bad in this cell, though you know? Mi amigos in here are cool guys. Our motley crew is often called the ?Organelles.? Yeah, You know you love the name. You better, or mi amigo, Victor Yule, he will swallow you whole! Yup, Vic Yule, he?s one big guy. We don?t push him around; he?s pretty intimidating you know? Anyways, lets not talk about mi amigos, how about me?
Well, way back when, I used to hang with another crowd, we used to have a lot in common. ?Plastids? they used to call us. I guess I hung out with them because we liked to store things, some of them, starches, or lipids, but not me I wanted energy. Basically that?s what I?m good at. With a little help from mi amigo, Piggy. Yup, Good old? Carlos Phil and I used to be great. The ?Big Green Machine? they called us. We still work together, since ya know, he?s like a part of me.
Anyways, Now I hang out here in this cell. I like hanging out along the wall of the cell. It?s nice along the edge. Nice view, and you know, I must pride myself, I?m a fine looking? guy. So, you know all those chicas want to see me right? I attract attention you know? When a lot of light, as we like to call the ladies around here, is shining? on me, I might change to make myself more accepting to the lady types. If there are a lot, ya know, I might need to change my shape, or move to get their attention.
Oh! You are probably wondering, why one chico like me deserves to be so good looking? Why I have this incredibly beautiful green tint to me? This soft smooth membrane? This appealing disc shape? Well it?s because ya know my good looks are necessary. See, our Cell needs those lovely ladies from Solar to make some chemical energy if you know what I mean. And well, that?s how we run this place? or keep it going rather. All those other guys in the ?Organelles? need heh, food for their fire you know? And, well, I?m the supplier so you know I?m necessary. Well, that?s my job around here, and you know I?m good at it. Oh, man look more light, just pouring in from out there, I better go trap them with some good old ?Big Green Machine Charm?. Adios Amigos!
