Review
Meet the Parents is a hysterical comedy that I believe everybody should see. There are many funny scenes from the beginning of the movie to the end.
This movie is about a man, Greg Focker, who goes to meet the parents of his girlfriend, Pam Byrnes. In this time spent at the parents house, Greg causes a great deal of mischief which includes shooting the cork of a champagne bottle that knocks over Pam s urn of her grandmother, mother of Jack Byrnes who is an ex-CIA agent. While the ashes from the urn are on the floor, the cat finds his own use of this as litter. Greg also breaks the nose of his girlfriend s sister, Debbie Byrnes. He floods the back yard with sewage from flushing a toilet he was instructed not to flush and he lets the cat out of the house, which has no outdoor survival skills, and almost wrecks the house trying to retrieve it.
After all of this Greg is kicked out of the house. While boarding the plane to return home he makes a big scene because he wanted to leave his luggage with him on the plane. Greg is then kicked off of the plane and is placed in a room where he is going to be questioned by the police. This is when Pam s father Jack shows up. Jack gets him out of trouble and talks to him about everything that had occurred over the past few days. Jack then invites him to come back and Greg agrees.
Shortly after Greg marries Pam and all of the problems that occurred had been forgiven.
