while others think that giving away food stamps is a helpful thing, i think that the gov. should stop distrubuting food stamps. the aqusition and use of food stamps is frequently abused. people can easily obtain food stamps by creating their eligibility even if it involves cheating. one thing i believe that the government should stop handing out food stamps is that most of the people who receive food stamps are capable of working. These people are well capale of empolyment, which would enable them to purchase their own food and other necessities.

Another reason is that it makes the taxpayers pay more taxes. Taxpayeers are forced to pay more taxes to support people who recieve food stamps and that is not fair thing, considering that some of these food stamp recipients are capable os employment. it makes the person who is working hard trying to earn a living get a big chunk of their income cut to support freeloaders. finally, most of the food stamps recipients often or are tempted to exchange food stamps for cash money for less that the value of the food stamps. the cash money they exchanged is used to buy expensive luxuries, like bland-name clothing and costly shoes. others use this money to buy drugs, beers, and even tobacco products. these people clearly know that exchanging food stamps for money is ganist the law, but they don’t care because they did not earn it. all this is unfair to the taxpayer.
