INTELLIGENCE?It is widely debated whether psychologists define intelligence accurately, though most agree that intelligence is the global capacity to act purposefully, think rationally, and deal effectively with the surrounding environment. Their views stem from observing a rather small fraction of the brain’s measured activity, approximately 10 percent, and subsequently cannot actually categorize a person’s mental capacity, other than achieved levels of concentration. Despite all this, no one description is more widely accepted than the theory of an operational definition, or the operations to measure a specific concept, which otherwise primarily shows one particular psychologists interpretation. The various tests and explanations only measure certain cognitive abilities for strictly defined tasks rather than the entire capability.

However, traditional tests evaluate only a part of perfect’ world intelligence, namely linguistic, logical mathematical, and spatial proficiency. With so much controversy encasing concrete intelligence, one psychologist, Howard Gardner, has theorized more broadly on several divisions of intelligence: Language Logic and Math Visual and Spatial Thinking Music Bodily-Kinaestheic Skills Intra personal Skills Interpersonal Skills The current efforts to clarify brilliance from stupidity are on-going and incessant. Although these struggles are valiant, true intelligence and mental power can only be assessed by incorporating more experiments of real’ world value, and ultimately defined.
