There is a whole buch of emotions that any one person can have , feel , or express at any given time. One of the most provacitve and complex emotions that exists is jealousy. Jealousy, according to Merriam Webster+s Collegiate Dictionary , Jealousy is +hostility toward a rival or one believed to enjoy an advantage+ . Jealousy is so intresting because its filled with so many other emotions too. In essence, Jealousy is having negative, unpleasent feelings or resnetment toward someone else because they are in some way better than you, have something you want or wish you could have. When someone is jealous they can experience a whole spectrum of of other emotions that come with jealousy as well. Greed , hate , love , shame, dislike, unhappiness, resentment , and selfishness are all emotions that the experiencer feels.

In our everyday lives, everyone experiences jealousy. Jealousy is a two way street and so at one time or another either you have been jealous of someone or they have been jealous of you. Jealousy is such a negative emotion because it leads to hatred, resentment and other negative emotions for stupid reasons. Often Jealousy is the cause for violence and can often lead to a breach in friendship. For Example, I used to have a friend in camp who i was Jealous of. He was better at sports then I was, everyone liked him better and he was just overall better than me. Anyway because of that I began to resent him and I was just worse off because of that. The resentment led to hate and then my friendship with him was ruined.
