Frank, Joe, and Big Al are the main characters. Frank and Joe Hardy are brothers so they have the same qualities. They both have very good survival

skills, and they never give up on their cases. Big Al was a fearsome leader of

a notorious gang. He used his excellent leadership skills to direct the gang

towards many evil doings. He designed many traps for Joe and Frank Hardy.

Even though the boys always escaped, Big Al continued to use his cleverness

to try and trap them.

The Mystery that must be solved is the one about the hidden gold. The

gold was hidden by the owner who forgot where he hid it because he suffered

from amnesia as a result of a plane crash. The Hardy Boys, and Big Al and his gang were searching for the hidden gold.

The Hardy Boys solved the mystery of the hidden gold when the owner

regained his memory and told them where the gold was hidden. Big Al, the

gang leader who was responsible for the plane crash, trailed the Hardy Boys

to the place where the gold was hidden. The Hardy Boys and Big Al had a

battle over the gold. The brothers won and Big Al and his gang ended up in

jail.

One of the clues they discovered is that Bob Dodge was the person who had the gold. Another clue was a Slip Gun with no trigger. However, it has a

short muzzle that could fit in your pocket and is fired with the cock. They also learned that some of the meetings are held at the Shadow of the Bear. The last thing they discovered was where the gold was.

I wouldn’t change anything because the author wrote it perfectly, and besides, I could not have done any better.

I would recommend this book to another classmate because it has everything a good book needs; Action, Mysteries, and words that you could

understand. Besides, the author is a good writer.

Yes, I enjoyed this book because it had a combination of the three things I like in a book as mentioned above; namely, action, mystery, and easily

understood words. Besides this everything was so interesting, I got hooked

on it when I started reading.
