Georgia Military College (GMC) is very convenient it has dual campuses, flexible scheduling, and accelerated quarter system. First, GMC has two campus sites located in Martinez on Davis Rd. and on Fort Gordon?s Military base in the Academic Dr. area. These sites are a plus for busy people with full time schedule. The classes are rotated between campuses quarterly, so students can choose the most convenient location. Although every class is not offered every quarter, I find the two sites helpful.

Next, the schedules are convenient. They offer day, evening and weekend classes. Day classes start as early as seven A.M. and this gives some people the opportunity to take a class before work. The evening classes are great for people who work a full time day schedule. The classes during the evening are offered Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/ Thursday or a five hour one day a week class. The Saturday classes are also just one day a week.

Lastly, The accelerated classes on the quarter system are the most convenient. GMC offers four eight week quarters and a seven-week summer quarter per year. I found that by going to GMC, I was able to finish my core classes in one year, whereas if I had gone to Augusta State University on the semester system it would have taken me two years or more. Last year during the summer, I took a five-hour one-day a week psychology class. I was physically in class only six days and I earned full credit of five-quarter hours for the six days of class.

Georgia Military College is very convenient. The dual sites the flexible scheduling and the accelerated quarter system is great especially for the older student. I have enjoyed my time here at GMC.
