Persuasive Speech

To begin with I need an attention getter, so I thought I would get their attention by vaguely suggesting something about a decision everyone has to make when they are sixteen. From there I will tell everyone how and why I am qualified to give this presentation, and why it is important to listen to what I have to say. A thesis statement is what I will go on to from there. It will say something like this; I will talk to you briefly about the process of organ donation and the positive outcomes as well as tell everyone how they can be an organ donor. The need step will be accomplished by stating the need for organ donation. I will have a few facts about the lives saved and lost according to? Then I will reinforce that everyone has the ability to become an organ donor, and there is no reason not to. The satisfaction step is by far the largest catagorie for my presentation. I want to tell everyone again that they should donate. From there I will go through the donation process, and tell everyone hoe they can become a donor. After that I will have a few more statistics, and let them know that contrary to belief there are no drawbacks to organ donation. For my visualization step I have a chart showing the negative reinforcement with deaths related to organ donation. I will conclude my presentation with a simple comment reinforcing that everyone in this room should immediately become organ donors because there is someone waiting on them.
