I went to bed last night

Wishing on a star

Your light shines in my heart

No matter where you are

It’s hard for me to say

My words are sometimes few

But baby all I want

Is just to be with you

Maybe it’s the stars

Shining in the sky so bright

That has me writing these words

Of love to you tonight

Or maybe it’s this feeling

That’s deep inside my heart

Because I love you so much baby

And have right from the start

For the longest time

I walked this world alone

Never knowing where to turn

Lost without a home

Until you came along

Offering a love so true

I now know I was born

Just to be with you

I wonder if you know

What you do to me

You truly are a vision

And fill my eyes with beauty

Though we have had our troubles

No matter what, no matter when

That it’s without a doubt

I’d do it all again
