Pyramids are one of the world s greatest mysteries, which are located in Egypt. There were a lot of theories of how the pyramids were built, but no one was sure. The Greeks came up with the theory, that it took 100, 000 men and 20 years to build the Great Pyramid of Gizeh. That theory was proven wrong because it was believed that it took 5 times that amount of men. While if they had that amount of men, it would have taken them way over 20 years. Greeks theory was totally incorrect, and they should have checked before making that assumption.

The Greeks suggested that it took the Egyptians 20 years and 100, 000 men to build the great pyramid. This theory was never proven by anyone, including the Greeks themselves. It would have been impossible to build the great pyramid in such a short time, especially with that small work force. Some believed that it would have taken 50, 000, 000 people to build the pyramid, but the population of Egypt at that time was only 20, 000, 000 people. Just this fact alone, proves the Greek theory wrong.

Two scientists built a small pyramid, as a way to calculate the number of stones the Egyptians had to bring in a day in order to finish the pyramid in 20 years. They calculated that the Egyptians had to bring 340 stones every day, to finish in 20 years. That is only to bring the stones, they also had to put them in place and make sure everything was accurate and precise. Considering all of this information and evidence, it is obvious the construction of the Great Pyramid would have taken a lot longer than 20 years.
