After watching Independence Day the aliens should have won and taken over the earth easily, for many reasons. First when the aliens entered our atmosphere each space ship was fifteen miles wide. America has good weapons but enough to take out these spaceships that have a protective shield around them. We also couldn t use nuclear bombs on these either. First is because if we did shoot a nuclear bomb then that would bounce off of the space ship, then everything would be covered in nuclear atoms and everything would die anyways.

Second, when they were supposed to enter that virus they would not be able to. This is because the aliens took over their satellites and used them against them. This leaves a question how would he be able to send the virus to the mother ship?

Third, if they were able to enter the virus into the mother ship then they would not have enough time to get out of the mother ship and also take the other ships down within their time limits. The ships were just too big for and had too much mass in order to do damage. The people on earth did not have enough weapons and enough men to bring them down.

Finally, when they do finally figure out how to bring them down the spaceships they would not have enough time to tell everyone in the world on how to take them down. If you remember they had to use the old morris code to tell everyone. By this time the ships would already have fired and killed another city. Also who would find a man to do this in this amount of time? I mean to go up in the middle of the craft and kill them. Finally, after they would bring down the ship, the ship would fall on top of the city or where ever and crush the city.
