The bombing of Hiroshima has been a highly disputed piece of history for generations. Their are very strong opinions on either side of the fence, although choosing a side is harder than meets the eye. After researching the cold facts I have humbly changed my opinion of the matter. I used to believe that it was the key event in ending the war, I was sadly mistaken. The war with Japan though bloody, seemed to be on the way to a peace agreement. The devastation of the A-bomb is still being felt by the Japanese. The introduction of the A-bomb started a mad dash for these killing machines
