Juvenile Delinquency Essay, Research Paper
President John F. Kennedy once stated: “Our problems are manmade; there for they maybe solved by man no problem of the human destiny is beyond human beings.” In many works of literature an individual solves a problem that is manmade. In the play “Hamlet”, a wonderful work ofliterature by William Shakespeare, the maincharacter Hamlet is pursued by the ghost of his diseased father to perform revengeful tasks. One day his father appears to him and tells him that he was murdered. At first Hamlet isn’t sureif it is a dream or not, he decides to test thiswith a play that has the same plot as the alleged murder, to see how the king’s brother, the supposed murderer would react. The king watches the play and realizes that Hamlet knows of his sinful murder.
In a blind fury the king rages from the theater. He sends Hamlet to England with hopes of him being killed, but Hamlet outsmarts him, kills his henchman and goes back to Denmark. Eventually Hamlet kills the king and dies himself. In the novel “Lord of the Flies”, Ralf is the leader in the beginning. As problems arise the crew of boys begin to fight and break apart. Jack decides to take the rebellious boys and Ralf takes who is left, Piggy and Simon. In theend Ralf is the only one left alive from hisgroup, and they are all saved. These works of literature express the tendency of human beings to create problems for themselves. Whether it is fatal or not they areusually solved. It is human nature to make trouble with the interaction of other people and posses the intent to solve it.
