My Medical Occupations teacher at Northwest High School suggested that I

contact you about the job you have open in Physical Therapy. I am interested in applying

for the position in your department.

I have recently completed a Medical Occupations class that prepared me to work

in Physical Therapy. My courses included legal responsibilities of a health worker,

communication, CPR, and a core of courses that prepared me to be an employee in a

medical area. I also worked in the Physical Therapy Department eight hours a week for

sixteen weeks.

My attendance was excellent and I am very reliable. Working in Physical Therapy

was very interesting, and I am willing to learn the skills that you require.

May I have an interview? I will call next Monday, March 7, 2000, and hope to

arrange an interview at that time.
