For our project we are displaying an exhibit. We will be showing thedifferences between products in the past and products improved by plasticin the present day. For example we will bring a telephone from the early1900 s and a phone from the present. We will also contrast the differences,pros, cons of the changes of then and now products. We will use a small table to display the items. We will make abackboard out of cardboard and put posters explaining what each itemrepresents from today or from the past. Each item will be contrastedbetween the pros and cons of the change in the style and or in size,compatibility, and compactness. We will also contrast the quality of theproduct. We will also list a few products that were only invented due to

plastics or types of plastics. Show the difference of the product if it werenot invented and show how plastic can help and hurt the environment. On another part of the backboard we will list some facts on thehistory of plastic. We will bring in pictures of products first made of plasticfrom the past. We could list some occupations that were changed by theinvention of plastic(s). Or includes some military uses for plastic and NASAuses. We will have a paragraph or that will say something about how if plastic were never invented our lives would be lot more difficult and wewould probably be living in a whole different time period than we have now ifit were not invented. Scientific uses and some other technological uses forplastics could be included in the backboard.
