Euthanasia is assisted suicide. Is it right or wrong? Allot of people say its wrong, and that it is not moral to help someone commit suicide in some states it?s illegal and you can go to jail for it. People who are very sick want to die to end their suffering. In some states that is not allowed. In those states you have to die by natural cause or in an accident. These people think that euthanasia is nothing less then cold-blooded killing. Most people think that euthanasia is morally and ethically wrong, and that it should be banned in the United States.

People who support Euthanasia think that it?s ok for some. If the person is very ill and is not going to recover they should be allow the right to have assisted suicide (Euthanasia). The states that do allow Euthanasia have Guidelines to follow, such as the patient has to request it and must be in their right state of mind. The patient must know all of the information about his or her illness. The patient must also know the alternative solutions. A physician has to do the procedure himself, a nurse may not do the procedure her self, she may assist the physician. Two physicians must consult on the same case, their judgment must be independent. The relatives must be informed unless the patient doesn?t wish to. There must be a record of the case, and it can not be reported as a natural death. These are some of the guidelines that the states have to follow, in order to practice Euthanasia. These guidelines have been accepted by some of the states, if they do not follow the guidelines it?s considered a crime. Even though allot of people do not approve of this, the states do. Not all of the states agreed to this. There for some states do allow it and others don?t. I am not for or against it, to me it depends on the situation. If the person is really ill, dying, or the pain is so bad they can?t handle it, then yes I?m for it. But if the person just want to die for no reason, then no I?m against it. This is my opinion of Euthanasia.
