It was repugnant! Brutally ugly and ran in jots. Johnny had bought a new car and as obvioulsy used as it was – it was Johnny’s new car. His little sister ran out of the house when she heard the clamor of the first time he brought it home. It made an unearthly noise as it ran and moved only slightly faster than a Matchbox toy, but it ran. Johnny claimed he was delighted by the challenge of driving it. He used the clutch – every two seconds. Moving the clutch allowed a little motion. Reverse wasn’t really what it said, the same for drive and park – which proved a hard lessoned learned. So it had no doors – that didn’t matter – it ran and had it’s headlights. He kissed his sister goodbye and told her to tell Mom he wouldn’t be home before 10 that night because he’s got a date! He was slightly late, but he made it to sheryl’s house. The car couldn’t take the incline of the driveway, so he just honked the horn from out front. Sheryl came out and Johnny’s heart pounded in his chest – she was so beautiful and he was so nervous. Unfortunatly, without uttering a word, she disappeared back into the house. The door slammed and he sat to contemplate his next move. He was trying to figure out her peculiar reaction. He patted the wheel and thought of where he could take this wonderful new car. He got out a rag. He polished the lime – green and brown – rust finish. Sheryl peered out of the curtain and prayed that he’d just leave her out of the humiliation of being seen in that thing.
